After months of training ad hardworking, the 2019 season kicked-off with the Sharks defending their title in the Empire Cup. Two hard fought games against Great Oak and Murrieta Mesa, ending with the Sharks succeeding in retaining the honors of being the best in the IE!!

In the first game against Great Oak, Kaylee Bravo and Katie Burr were awarded player of the game honors. They both played exceptionally well in this pink-out game that was dedicated to Booster President, Katie Knight. In the Championship game against Murrieta Mesa, Riley Wilson and Claire Knight took home the player of the game honors leading a strong attack and dominant midfield!

I am very proud of how well the team is doing, and I am looking forward to the rest of the season, as we travel to El Toro and Valencia (Placentia) this coming week.
